Mom, Happy Mother's Day

I've tried to write
A poem for you
But miss you so
It's hard to do

You were taken so very fast
Not time for goodbye
As we sadly watched you
With love in our eyes

We thought you were better
One day when we came
Then the phone rang at home
You went backwards again

More operations
Till there was no end
One after the other
To ease all your pain

We waited and prayed
Please Jesus, not yet
Give us more time with Mom
Please let her just rest

But on that last day
When we came into see you
The look in your eyes
We already knew

Shortly you would be
In heaven with God
And the Angel's came
And took you on home

And I sit here crying
As I write you this poem
We all miss you so much
And wished you'd not gone

It' Been 12 year now

But still seen like it's

Our first Mother's Day
Without a Mother to love
But we know you are smiling
From Heaven above

Saying, "don't cry my children"
For I'm never that far
'Cause Heavens above you
With all of the stars

I'm home with your Dad
Gram and Gramp are both here
Now we'll watch over you
For all of your years

Until you come home
To God's beautiful shore
To be with Him
And your family once more

So go on your way
No more tears don't you shed
Our love is with you
In the soft gentle wind

Just look to the sky
With the stars shining bright
A kiss we will send you
In the still of the night
